Hello,
I've been busy with my kids they had their spring break. We spent the weekend in my hometown Chisasibi which We enjoyed :) and it was really nice to see everyone. My relatives gave me a special surprise supper. I sure didn't expect it :D I loved it..I was beyond happy to be surrounded by family & friends. This is what I needed the Most. I had a great time with them and I love you all. I am forever grateful! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continuing love & support! Also thanks for the lovely gifts. God Bless you all!
Here's the latest update from my last meeting with the surgeon right before March break.. My official pathology was back. I was a bit apprehensive to see /hear results. The lab found positive margins in the tissue removed, The margins of the tumor were deemed "close". Meaning the surgeon took out all of the cells he could, but because the tumor was so close to the chest wall it wasn't as big of a margin that they usually like, However So that means more surgery, the surgeon needs to go back and remove more tissue. This operation is called a re-excision. Chances are could happen again. I was given a week to make a decision and have the whole breast removed. The decision has been made a mastectomy it is. We continue with waiting until my follow up with the medical oncologist (March 19th) to get the ball rolling.
This song has gotten me through :) My favorite part in Finding Nemo.
