Hello readers,
I just got back from my post op appointment today. I feel good emotionally and physically. My spirits are high and I feel that I am recovering well. I saw Dr. Flieszer and nurse Bonnie, They were both pleased with everything and removed the drain. I was ready to have it out and let me say It is painful (ouch) and i felt it burn when the nurse pulled it out. What a relief! Now I can take a shower yay!! :D super happy! I have another post op appointment next week and I have a Thank you gift for Dr. Flieszer.
It has been a week since my surgery and I am almost 100% fully recovered :) I had a few sad moments, however I am human and I fall sometimes. I hate to do that & I don't do it often. I call it "The Meltdown". I am in a better place today than I was yesterday and I will be in a better place tomorrow than I was today. I strive to heal, recover, learn & blossom. Taking it day by day. February 12th marks 8 months since my diagnose. Wow I look back on that now and my body has been through so much these past months. I may be bruised and scarred but i know I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I will have many more smiles on my face, for sure. I am nearly at the finish line. Looking forward for the celebration...
Stay tuned for news later in the week.. Thanks for all the support! ✌❤
